Yom Kippur (Day of atonement Blessing)

Yom Kippur (Day of atonement Blessing)

By Brother R Michel Lankford

Blessed are you, Yahweh our Elohim, Who has mercifully provided Your Son Yeshua, the Sacrificial Lamb, to take away the sins of the world.

Please, mercifully cover every single one of our sins and transgressions of Your Law, by the precious blood of the Lamb.

Mercifully save us from every sin and iniquity. Graciously ensure that our names will truly be found written in the eternal Lamb's Book of Life.

Mercifully put Your True Grace in our Hearts and Minds.

Help us to thoroughly repent; to turn away from evil, and to delight in, to choose, and to steadily and progressively walk according to what YOU say is GOOD.

We commit ourselves to Your Merciful Hands.

By your great power, and the blood of the Lamb mercifully transform our lives, so that You can rightly and truly judge us to be called Your righteous people on the Last Day.

Mercifully grant this according to Your unfailing Love, and in the Messiah Yeshua, whom you have sent to be our example of how to live before You, and who is our atonement when we fall short of perfection, as we try to obey you, Amen.

Shalom Shabbat Yom Kippur
