Freedom Is Awesome, but it's NOT FREE

Freedom is NOT Free.*Someone Else Paid the Price* *Live Rightly* Stay Free!* *2 Chron. 7:14*

There are those in our world today, both at home and abroad, who would love to take away our freedom to read, to live out and to proclaim the Scriptures as Yahweh convicts and guides us to do so.

There are those who would love to remove the freedom of religion, the freedom of assembly, the freedom of the press, and the freedom to petition for justice and the redress of grievances.

They would love to remove these and other freedoms we hold dear.

We must never forget that these freedoms we enjoy are RARE. They are precious and wonderful; the one thing that freedom isn't; it isn't FREE.

We are semi-free today because of the prayers, the hardships, the hard labors, the blood, the sweat and the very life of others who stood the gap. They bravely stood the wall and said to evil and to tyranny, "We shall not let you continue past this point."

We are free today because others shed their blood and bore the battle.

I say thank you to our American veterans who bravely fought that we may be free in this world, and thank you to Messiah who fought against the very depths of evil itself, so that our deliverance and freedom would also be guaranteed beyond this life.

Help us Almighty Yahweh, to repay you in the best way that we can; by NOT using our freedoms to indulge our worst natures, but by using our freedoms to live our life, in a way that is TRULY worthy of the high price that was paid to buy the freedom we now enjoy.

Thank you to Messiah for purchasing our freedom from sin. Thank you to our American veterans for purchasing and maintaining our freedoms from various tyrannies. Thank you for standing the wall to defend those of us, who could not hope to defend ourselves without your sacrifice. May Yahweh Almighty strengthen you for the battle, and preserve you safely home again.

One of the most common questions that we typically receive when we try to talk to traditional Christians about Whole Testament Theology is, "Oh My Word! Don't you believe in Jesus anymore?! Of course we do! It is precisely BECAUSE we DO believe in WHO Messiah is, and what Messiah taught, that we believe that all truly converted and born again believers in Messiah, should pursue learning, believing, and practicing obeying ALL of Scripture, INCLUDING Yahweh's Torah.

(Matthew 5:17-20 ; Matthew 7:21-23; Matthew 13:41-42 ; Matthew 24:12-13; Luke 6:46; John 14:21; Titus 2:11-15; James 2:18-20,26; 1 John 2:1-6; 1 John 2:29; 1 John 3:7).

Our biggest problem is that we have forgotten what it means to REALLY BELIEVE.
